Student accommodation in Islington
For many, the attraction of studying in London is as much about the city itself as the high quality of the universities. Accommodation provided by Pure Highbury is found in one of the most pleasant areas of the capital, nestled in the affluent north London borough of Islington.
Everything you need is close by, such as the greenery of Finsbury Park, the sport at Arsenal Football Club's Emirates Stadium, the shopping at Camden Market and the culture at iconic Sadler's Wells Dance Theatre. Islington also retains political significance as the scene of the notorious Granita Pact between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown in 1994.
Eighteen of London's top universities are within a half-hour journey on the tube, with London Metropolitan University's North Campus particularly close by. Others can be accessed via the tube from Finsbury Park, which serves the Victoria and Piccadilly Lines towards locations such as Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Oxford Circus.
Those looking for international student housing in London should also note that the accommodation offers easy access to and from Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Oyster cards are a cost-effective, simple way to navigate the city at your own convenience, whether you're on your way to a lecture or just want to explore London on your days off.

Applying for your student accommodation
Pure Highbury accepts applications for accommodation all year round, making this the perfect choice for those looking for somewhere to spend the year or students who wish to find somewhere new to stay mid-semester.
Booking your room couldn't be easier, with just four simple steps between you and a convenient place to live at the heart of the capital. To start with, you need to enter your academic year and your email address. We will then send you a special security code that will allow you to proceed to the main booking form.
You can then select from the collection of available rooms, enter your contact details and pay a deposit to secure your room. This will be £400, and will be returned at the end of your stay. You may also arrange a viewing prior to booking in which you and your family can visit Pure Highbury to get a feel for our student accommodation and its Islington surroundings.
Once your room is secured, you can choose from two different ways to pay for your room.
Many residents opt for a set plan which is split into three instalments. The first of these is due no later than two weeks before you move in, and consists of 40% of the total year's rent. A second payment of 40% is paid in January, while the final 20% must be paid in April.
Alternatively, you can pay for the entire year in one go before you arrive.
