How would you describe Pure Highbury?
Pure Highbury is a very clean residence, there are cleaners that come into our kitchen each day and keep the communal areas looking smart! I like the modern feel of the building, the bright colours and how open plan everything is - it makes it all very welcoming.
What do you love about the local area?
The area has excellent transport links. There are buses and tube lines which access the whole of central London. The food in the local area is really well priced for students and I like the local cafes as well.
What do you love about London in general?
London is very cosmopolitan. There are lots of students to mix with from all different backgrounds. I love the different neighbourhoods that there are, each with their own atmosphere and places to shop and eat.
Where is your favourite place to shop in London?
Brick Lane on a Sunday has a brilliant vintage market, there is a really good atmosphere. The food market is really diverse and is cheap as well. There are lots of different types of people so the vibe is really positive.
What is your best feature of Pure Highbury?
The Screening Room! I like watching movies with my friends and I am going to try some games on the big screen too! I think this room will get a lot of use this year…
Would you recommend Pure Highbury to friends? If so, why?
Yes – it is comfortable, affordable and the quality is really good. It is very convenient for most of the universities in London too.
